This Privacy Policy explains what and how personal information we collect, store, use and disseminate. This Privacy Policy serves as our privacy protection principle with not only our customers but also our suppliers and business partners.
What types of information do we collect?
Information you provide to us
We collect personal information when you voluntarily provide us with such information while signing up to receive services or order products from us or when providing us with products or services, for recruiting and HR management purpose, or for any of our newsletters or respond to surveys we may offer from time to time. We may also collect your name, email address, and organization information where we interact with you for the purpose of obtaining goods or services from you, or to otherwise enter into a relationship with you.
Information we collect when you do business with us
If you create an account on our online Web Shop (“Web Shop”) or any of our platforms (together with the Website, our “Platforms”), subscribe to receive our newsletters or other marketing communications from us, or agree to provide us with goods or services, we may ask you to provide your contact details. We will store your name, address, email and phone number, which, if you are a customer, may be used to populate the checkout for future orders. We also collect billing and account details when you make a purchase with us. We may process your personal information when you do business with us – for example, as a customer or prospective customer, or as a vendor, supplier, consultant, or other third party. For example, we may hold your business contact information and financial account information (if any) and other communications you have with us for the purposes of maintaining our business relations with you.
Electronic Correspondence
If you send an email to us or otherwise submit a message to us on our contact page, we will obtain from you the information that you choose to include in your email and the information that we require you to include when you message us on our contact page. We may store such information in a file specific to you and may keep this information in accordance with our retention procedures. If you leave comments on the Website, information associated with that comment, such as your use name, your contact email and the time of the post, may be saved. We may use this information to respond to your inquiry, including providing customer support services.
Location Data
Our Platforms may collect information about your location, such as the approximate location of your IP address. Unless you provide us with your permission, this location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you. We may send you specific notifications if you are visiting from particular locations. We may keep this information in accordance with our retention procedures.
Usage Data
When you use any of our Platforms, we may collect certain usage data, such as information about your web browser, mobile device or operating system. We may use this information as part of our providing the Platforms to you, and to improve the experiences of users with our Platforms. Information Collected Through Automated Gathering Tools

You are not obliged to provide us with any personal information but if you do not provide us with the personal information we need, we may not be able to provide you with our products or services, obtain products or services from you, or otherwise interact with you.
How do we use your information?
We may use information collected about you for a variety of purposes where necessary and in compliance of the applicable laws and regulations. Without limitation, we may use such information to:
provide our products or services that you request or receive products or services from you;
enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements with you, or comply with our obligations under such agreements (e.g., to make payments owed);

manage the suppliers;
conduct recruitment, interview activities as well as records of offer acceptance procedure and facilitate security, administrative, and legal purposes.
To whom do we disclose your information?
We may disclose information about you obtained either (i) when we have your permission or (ii) in any of the following situations without your permission:
We may share your personal information with other members of the SINBON group, for example if you are providing goods or services to the group as a whole.
We may disclose information about you to help complete a transaction for you, including in connection with our operating the Platforms or completing or confirming a transaction that you conduct with us. When we transfer your personally identifiable information to such a service provider, that entity will be contractually required: (a) to use such information only to carry out those services that we have requested, (b) to abide by this Privacy Policy, and (c) to provide adequate protection for such information (as required by applicable legal requirements).
We may disclose the results of aggregated or anonymized data that no longer relates to an identified or identifiable person without restriction. In such circumstances, we do not disclose to these entities any of your personal information.
As part of an actual, proposed, or potential merger, acquisition or other sale or transfer of all or substantially all of SINBON’s assets or business or any of its business lines, we may disclose to one or more third parties information obtained about you. We do not guarantee that any entity receiving such information in connection with one of these transactions will comply with all of the terms of this Privacy Policy.
We may share information collected about you with our auditors, legal advisors, and similar entities in connection with our receiving their professional services, subject to standard confidentiality obligations. We may also share your personal information in connection with any actual, potential, or prospective legal proceedings that we may be involved in.
We may disclose information about you to a government or to third parties under certain circumstances when legally obligated to do so, such as in connection with suspected illegal activity involving any of our Platforms, or to respond to a subpoena, court order or other legal process. We reserve the right to release information collected through our Platforms to law enforcement, other government officials, and regulatory bodies as we, in our sole discretion, deem necessary or appropriate.
We may also disclose information about you to third parties if needed to enforce any of the terms and conditions of our Platforms; to conduct any investigation of potential violations thereof; to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect against harm to any element of one of our Platforms.
What security measures do we employ for information about you collected?
To help protect the privacy of data collected, we take commercially reasonable steps to store such data, with the objective of protecting it against unauthorized access. When we transfer and receive sensitive information, such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server for the transfer of data. HOWEVER, PLEASE BE AWARE THAT NO TECHNOLOGY IS COMPLETELY SECURE, AND despite our best intentions and the guidelines outlined in this Privacy Policy, no data transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, although we will take reasonable steps to protect the security and integrity of all information you provide, SINBON cannot guarantee that any such information, whether during transmission or while stored on our systems or otherwise in our care, will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others who do not have your authorization. Any such transmission or sharing is at your own risk and you are responsible for ensuring that any Personal Data sent to us by you is sent securely.
Do our Platforms support “Do Not Track” signals?
We do not use technology that recognizes a “do-not-track” signal from your web browser. You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of cookies, by refusing to provide your consent for the placement of cookies when first visiting the relevant Platform, or by subsequently withdrawing such consent. However, if you choose to disable cookies, you may be unable to access certain parts of our Platforms.
What are the policies of linked websites and other third parties?
This Privacy Policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information obtained by SINBON. You should be aware that when you are using any of our Platforms, you may be directed to other apps or websites that are beyond our control, and SINBON is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. We would expect most of these third parties will collect information about you when you use their offerings. However, SINBON is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, regardless of whether they are linked or otherwise connected to the Platform. We encourage you to read the posted privacy policy whenever interacting with any third-party website, app, or other offering.
What is our policy on children users of the Platforms?
We do not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from persons under 13 years old, and no part of our Platforms is directed to persons under 13. IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE, PLEASE DO NOT USE OUR PLATFORMS AT ANY TIME OR IN ANY MANNER. If you learn that your child under 13 has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us.
Your California Privacy Rights
California law permits customers who transact with SINBON for personal, family or household purposes and who reside in California to request disclosure or an opt out if SINBON shares their information with third parties who are permitted to use the information to directly market their own products or services. SINBON does not share such information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
International transfer of Personal Data
Please note that we operate from outside of the EEA and UK and as such, when personal data is collected by SINBON from EEA and UK it will be processed in jurisdictions that may not be deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Where we further transfer such personal data for processing in jurisdictions that are not deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data, we may do so on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the UK Addendum to these and/or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (collectively “Appropriate Safeguards”).
Our lawful basis for processing your personal information in connection with the Platforms will be one of the following:
Legitimate interests. In most cases, we will process your personal information on the basis that it is in our legitimate business interests to do so. Our legitimate business interests are those as set out at (c) – (k) under “How do we use your information?” above. Where you are purchasing, selling, or providing products or services on behalf of your employer, this will also be the lawful basis we rely on for processing your personal information.
Consent. We may process your personal information where we have your consent to do so. This may be the lawful basis relied upon, for example when sending you marketing communications. Where we are processing your personal information on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time.
Performance of a contract. We may process your personal information where it is necessary to perform our contract with you, exercise our rights under a contract, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract with you. This may be the lawful basis relied upon when we provide you with products or services that you personally order, enforce our Terms of Use, or respond to questions that you have about SINBON, our products, or our services.
Compliance with a legal obligation. We may process your personal information where necessary for compliance with a legal obligation. For example, for fraud prevention.
Your Legal Rights
You may, subject to the applicable laws, have the right to:
Request information about, and access to, personal information we process about you;
Obtain without undue delay the rectification of any inaccurate personal information we hold about you;
Request that personal information held about you is deleted;
Request that we prevent or restrict the processing of your personal information (without deleting it); and Request that we transfer your personal information directly to a third party where this is technically feasible.
You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us using the details under “How can you contact us?” below. We aim to respond to requests made by you within one (1) month but may extend that period by two (2) further months where necessary.
Where you believe that we have not complied with our obligations under this Privacy Policy or the applicable laws, you have the right to make a complaint to an applicable authority. We would always ask that you first look to resolve any issues with us directly (and many data protection authorities will require you to do so before making a complaint).
Data Retention
We may retain your personal information as long as you continue to use the Platforms, have an account with us, or for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. You can ask to close your account by contacting us at the details above, and we will delete your personal information upon request. We may, however, retain personal information for an additional period as is permitted or required under applicable laws, for legal, tax, or regulatory reasons, or for legitimate and lawful business purposes.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page with an updated Effective Date. Please visit this page periodically so that you will be apprised of any changes.
